Astrid loves writing stories combining fantasy and mystery. Her favorite stories are centered around flawed main characters who find magic in the mundane.
Born and raised in France, Astrid obtained a BA in Film Theory and another one in Modern Literature from her hometown university (Lyon II), before moving to London where she got a Masters in Filmmaking from the London Film School.
Astrid started her career as a creative executive in Los Angeles for blackpills, a digital media studio. There, she was able to channel her passion for young-adult content by developing a slate of shows (Bonding, Netflix) with partners like Anonymous Content, Pulse Films, Adaptive Studios. Astrid was then hired as the head of development of a French/ American production company, in order to tell multicultural stories for a global audience, like The Chef in a Truck (Netflix/ Wild Bunch).

Now, Astrid splits her time between writing scripts and novels. She’s written romantasy novels for companies like Tapas Media (The Demon King’s Interpreter) and Webtoon/Wattpad, and most recently worked as an Associate Writer for Disney Junior’s Firebuds.
She’s also developing her own projects, like Ambrosantia, a YA fantasy series which was optioned by Newen Studios.

When not writing, Astrid spends her time riding horses and motorcycles.
